Yes, summer is finally here!
For those of us on the west coast of Canada, it has been a long, wet, and cold winter that bled into spring. Did we even have spring this year?
I love summer. It is my favourite of all the seasons.
The days are long, the weather is warm and inviting, and everyone slows down and gets outside to drink it all in.
This summer feels a little different – maybe it’s because we’re coming out of 2 years of COVID lock down, or isolating from each other and being diligent about not spreading this virus, or because I’m not stressing about getting more results in all areas of my life.
Whatever the reason, I am grateful and thankful for these days that are tanning my skin, pulling me out for long bike rides, or calling me to the water.
I plan to make the most of summer 2022 and will write when the mood strikes or inspiration calls me to pick up a pen and paper.
So if you don’t hear from me for a while, I’m still here; in fact, hit me up and together we can grab a beer, sit out back, and laugh the day away or play a game of Mölkky - the Outdoor Throwing Game.
